Patrick “Soulless Chef” Cottrell was born in the north suburbs of Chicago. He began cooking at the age of 7 & is primarily self-taught. After college & graduate school, he pursued a career in healthcare administration, which could best be described as “soul-sucking” (if he had one). Following a certain global catastrophe, he decided a better way to contribute to society positively was by blending his passion for cooking, music, & dark humor to teach folks how to cook.
